Ghost Town Studio Summer 2020 Update

Howdy,
Thanks for taking a few minutes to read the summer update. I hope everyone is doing ok and staying healthy in these crazy times. I've been trying to stay active and creative, but to be honest some days are just hard. With so much news circling around all the time, I sometimes find it difficult to focus and be creative. Reading, listening to music, watching movies, practicing Tai Chi and hanging out with my family has helped keep my mind on the positive. Plus the weather is getting warmer and that always helps.

With most of the summer/spring shows getting canceled or postponed, I won't have any new gig posters for a while. However, I do have a few things in the works. It has given me time to work on more fine art projects. I will have some big news coming soon on a project I've been working on with Roger Williams Park in RI. It's been a fun and challenging project and I can't wait for you all to see it. In the meantime I decided to reach out to my long time friend, William Schaff, about working on another collaboration. He immediately said YES! Together we worked on a brand new art print based on one of his owl illustrations.

Will and I have collaborated in the past and our first offering sold out immediately. It’s not often you can get your hands on a screen print by Will, so this is a special event. Printed on 100lb Smart White French Paper in an edition of 70, half of the edition is a gold owl the other half is a white owl. Both are printed with metallic gold ink in various layers. A portion of the sales will go to the RI Audubon Society to help support our feathered friends both big and small. http://www.ghosttownstudio.com/posters/fine-art/

I truly believe art can make a difference in our lives even in small ways. My ability to continue to make art and run a small studio is in no small part thanks to you and your support through the years. So I thank you. Stay safe an healthy and hopefully I can see you again at a show or art event sometime in the near future.
Cheers,
Pete / Ghost Town Studio
