Brand New Ghost Town Studio Art Print
Hi Everyone,
Well, here we are, mid summer in the middle of a pandemic. Never thought I would be writing those words. As you know I do a lot of work in the music industry. Particularly designing and printing gig posters. Bad news, pretty much all the shows this summer ( probably the rest of the year ) have been canceled. The good news is it's giving me time to work on more fine art prints, as well as dig into the archive to start offering up some stuff that has never been on the site.
Recently I watched "Fear City: New York vs the Mafia" on the ol' Netflix. It reminded me of a fine art print I did awhile back for the Gangster themed show at Galerie F in Chicago. It's a dual tribute of sorts. One to the five Families that ruled NYC for so may years with an iron fist and family code and two as a nod to one of my favorite bands of all time the Ramones. A band that lived and breathed all of the craziness that NYC had to offer during the reign of the Five Families. These were offered at the gallery as part of the show but never offered up here. Until NOW!
This was a small edition of only 25 and I have a few personal copies I'm pulling out of the vault for this occasion. Printed on quality paper with speed ball inks ( including metallic gold of course ).
